Our Director of Operations, Russ Arnold spearheaded this company achievement. He spent countless hours in 2023 organizing and managing the transition of our FAR Part 135 Air Carrier certificate 5OKA992K from Oklahoma Aviation, LLC to Soulbird LLC. We’ve been operating under a “doing business as” or DBA for the past couple of years, but thanks to Arnold’s hard work, organization, and diligence on this task, the FAA has officially approved and reissued our certificate under Soulbird LLC. This will give us autonomy in the broader charter marketplace, making us more marketable in domestic and international regions. Our sister company, Oklahoma Aviation will still continue to operate as a 141 Flight School.
