We’re thrilled to welcome Keilidh McMath to the Soulbird team as Second-in-Command on the HondaJet Elite!
Keilidh’s love of aviation started at a young age, but growing up in Northern Vermont, being a pilot wasn’t necessarily a job that crossed her radar. During her time attending the University of Vermont for her bachelor’s degree, she started her nine-year career working at JetBlue Airways. She worked both outside on the ramp as well as inside working the ticket counter and the gate. Being a part of the aviation world, it was only a matter of time before she set her eyes on flying. One of her coworkers took her flying in a Cessna 172, and it was all over from there!
Keilidh started her second career in flying during the summer of 2020 with Vermont Flight Academy in Burlington, Vermont. She then moved out to Colorado to continue her training. She has been instructing for over 2 years now in many GA aircraft, but primarily in Cirrus. She is also very excited to have joined the team with Soulbird to fly the HondaJet! In her free time with family and friends, she loves being outside, hiking, skiing, and doing art projects, and she has too many house plants!
Keilidh’s firsthand experience across nearly every corner of the aviation industry—from ground operations to flight instruction—gives her a unique perspective and strong foundation as a private jet charter pilot.
