We are pleased to announce Ryan Burroughs’ promotion to the role of Chief Pilot for Soulbird LLC. Ryan brings a wealth of experience as a charter pilot with the company since 2016 in the Cessna Citation Sovereign+, CJ4, and now HondaJet. He has most recently provided expert guidance to the Flight School as the Chief Flight Instructor. Ryan is a tireless professional and is a welcome addition to the Charter management team.
A native Oklahoman, Burroughs has had a passion for aviation since his first airline flight at 15 years old. Pursuing this passion, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s of Science in Aviation Management with a minor in Business. After becoming a certified flight instructor, he was hired by Oklahoma Aviation in 2014. Through the years, Burroughs has become a Gold Seal Flight Instructor and Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot.
A Part 135 Charter line pilot since 2018, Ryan has been a captain on the Cessna Citation CJ4, Citation Sovereign+, and HondaJet. Well-versed in FAA regulatory compliance, he brings years of experience to the table. Burroughs has a passion for Soulbird and the quality of life balance the company envelops.
